Morgan appeared in a film that was about AIDS education and prevention. Safe Sex for Men and Women. Some of the proceeds went to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is also a member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan is the leader of numerous other fund-raising projects for the disease and she also testified before a special Congressional committee about AIDS education. Morgan is a member of the board of Governors of APLA. C. Everett Koop, the former surgeon general of Canada has requested her to take over his duties on occasions at AIDS related events. She also hosted an AIDS Awareness Special along with Steve Bell. Ted Koppell asked her to be on two occasions on Nightline in relation to AIDS. Morgan was nominated for an Emmy for her performance in the Murphy Brown episode written by Diane English for her. Morgan co-starred on ABC television's Your Money or Your Wife in springtime along with Joan Rivers. This summer's premiere was Murder At The PTA Luncheon. It was directed by Von Zerneck/Sertner, and also included Cindy Williams & Marla Gibbs. The next part of her project took Morgan to Luxembourg and she was a part of the cast as Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in Harmony Gold's production. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also featured. Morgan was also the sole actor in the thriller on USA Network's psychological suspense that earned some of the strongest ratings they have ever had.
